Read all about... me!
Don't you love my self-centered post title?!
The Portsmouth Herald ran a piece on me today, based on an interview I did last week. It's a little exciting to have a little press - and I think the writer did a wonderful job. Especially considering my wacky ramblings! Read it here.
I'm off my morning schedule because of it, but will be getting over to my drafting table for my 21 day exercise ASAP!
I AM SOOOOOOOO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I CAN'T WAIT TO READ IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!

Hee, hee I do love your self -centered title Gina :o)
You deserve this interview, you are very talented girl!
Loved reading it, laughed with the butt thing.. never thought of that, you know?
You are so right as how we get to choose our paths.. sometimes I feel life is like that game were somebody hides something and you have to find it, but with clues.. if they say cold you are far away if they say warm your almost there... Life is like that too, you go some path and say well.. not this way let me try this instead.. and keep going until suddenly you say, YES! That's it!! This is what I want to do with my life...
Happened to me too. I'm glad you found your way here and wish you so much success with the children's books. You are very talented Gina, it will happen with trade for sure :o)

Ah, that was such a great article, Gina - congrats! Everything sounds so familar (I've had my fair share of "interesting" comments/revisions from educational work, hahaha). Best wishes to you on your path to children's books, I'll be in line to get a copy.

Congrats! How exciting. I'm also targeting children's books and licensing. I'm finding it hard to break into licensing. Where to start?!

Great article! I got stuck in traffic Friday night and missed the show, but I'm totally planning to check it out this week on my lunch break. Looks like some wonderful art.

seems like we have the same dream!! Can you believe all the crap thrown at me and Carol over at D*S! Do these people have any idea about licensing? The thing that gets me the most is they insulted my work and did not even listening to what we were saying. i bet they do not last at all!! As far as we are concerned we are not going to ever help out again!! If you want advice now you are going to have to pay for it!!!

What a great read! You certainly are on the right path! And make no apologies for being 'self-centered' -- you need to be proud of these accomplishments! All very cool!
