Batter up!

To bring my nephew up to date, here's a sketch from a recent photo of a little league game. I'm glad that he has good athletic skills - something I completely lack (does ping pong count?). I had a hard time capturing the look of intense focus on his face, it reads more like nervous here.
He looks concentrating, I like how you make the shade, you line work is clean.
PingPong! of course it count! my husband set up a table-tennis in basement, every Monday there is a PingPong instructor's teaches him and friends to play properly, he is so serious about this sport!

really nice - i think ping pong counts --- heck, isn't it in the olympics? :)
thanks for the doggie advice - she doesn't do anything to my chinchillas (although, to be fair, they are in cages) :)

This is wonderful (I say this both as an appreciative fellow artist and a big baseball fan who's actually listening to a game right now)! I love the weight of the folds in his jersey-- you've really captured some good lines there. Great movement, too.
